Start with a free trial. Follow these steps to create your own font: Decide what type of font (or typeface) you’d like to make. Create your document and set up guides. Draw the characters. Export as .svg files. Use your font creation software to compress it into a .ttf or .otf file. Typeface: refers to the overall design of a type. It includes all the styles within that type.
